Depends where you're going, of course. Whilst I don't know the exact T&C's, its rare that a Four Seasons will have a nasty cancellation policy so you could book a villa and then cancel if better deals appear later.

What I wouldn't do is book a package or flights, especially as MLE is a strong contender to be the new route that BA is about to announce from Gatwick.
