Do your credit cards carry rewards (I hope)? Why not charge it on the card and pay in full when the bill comes in?

One issue you'll encounter is that they'll want to "make an impression of your card" when you check in. Why? Because you might order caviar from Room Service accompanied by champagne from the minibar or call Hong Kong for $12/minute. What they do when they swipe your card is have the credit card company "freeze" some of your credit limit till a few days after you check out so there's room on the card for any incidentals. (A Disney hotel froze $1,500 of mine when I checked in for 2 nights unaccompanied, to attend a business meeting.) I don't know what they do if you pay in cash- require a deposit? I'd definitely call and ask first.
