Thinking of booking next year's holidays, as I wanted to "get in there early", but all the excitement of the "Crisis Discount" thread has me wondering whether to leave booking until later incase some good discounts appear at the decent Maldivian resorts. It'd be good to get away from the $1500 base nightly rates especially given the weakness of the £!

But i am talking peak period at Easter holidays, so maybe these resorts fill up just fine and dont need to do offers at that time, and hence I need to book asap just to get in.

Any ideas?
