I usually prefer a window seat (even though I am 6 ft... which isn't a problem with E+) because I like to look out of the window.
The window seat allows you to go a bit diagonal, with your knees toward the window, without intruding on somebody else's space. The middle your only choice is straight forward (and up).

I love to look out the windows. I'm a cloud nut; I can sit and stare at clouds and weather for a very long time. But unless it's window/aisle and I'm sitting next to one of my kids, I don't want to bother people every two hours or so climbing over them to get to the bathroom.
