I usually prefer a window seat (even though I am 6 ft... which isn't a problem with E+) because I like to look out of the window.
The window seat allows you to go a bit diagonal, with your knees toward the window, without intruding on somebody else's space. The middle your only choice is straight forward (and up).

love to look out the windows. I'm a cloud nut; I can sit and stare at clouds and weather for a very long time. But unless it's window/aisle and I'm sitting next to one of my kids, I don't want to bother people every two hours or so climbing over them to get to the bathroom.
