While this is true (I have fairly long legs), the FAs make no attempt to avoid bumping into any intrusions in the aisle. A cynical person would suggest they do it deliberately, to "warn" you that a cart could be coming through and take off your kneecap if you don't get your legs back where they belong.

From a standpoint of comfort I prefer a window seat, but being a 50+ male, I'll always take the aisle.
