Flown both new products in J twice. CX JFK to HKG and JAL JFK to NRT. I find the JAL product superior in terms of seat, service, planes, set-up of cabin. The CX 180 degree seat I find extremely confining and much like a coffin, the cabin interior very cheap looking, they have a nice monitor and good but not excellent food service. The JAL seat although not 180 degrees is more comfortable, better cabin service, food, flight attendant service.
