so i was thinking about booking JAL on the first leg of my trip to Asia with BA miles and had a choice of CX via HKG in J versus going JFK to NRT on JAL....

i have flown new J on CX and really do not like it for travel with 3 people so i was thinking about JAL....this thread came up so if others could provide any input as versus CX that would be great...would like to avoid 16 hours to HKG and 4 back to NRT.....if i can.
