I have just check the fair for HKG-JFK-HKG on CX's web. But I actually tried HKG-YVR,YVR-JFK,JFK-YVR,YVR-HKG. The I fare for YVR-JFK is HKD 16,792.47(inc tax), and I fare for HKG-YVR is 22,370(inc tax,Surcharge of HKD1580 for each outward or return departure on Fri/Sat/Sun). That adds up to less than 40K for HKG-JFK via YVR(almost same as J class fare from HKG-YVR?)
