A friend got a letter from FB saying that her miles will expire in April 09. She called up FD helpdesk on the 28th of April to cash them in but was told that they had expired on April the 3rd!

Even though she got the letter from FB after the 3rd and no where on the letter does it say any particular date in April that they will expire at.

Now has she lost the 60,000 miles? Or is it worth sending a email to FB? The agent was quite adamant that she could not do anything.
