Wales, in general, rocks. Very beautiful country. I lived in Aberystwyth for a while, so I'm partial to mid-Wales and the north myself .

Cardiff is a great place to spend a weekend - especially if there's some decent rugby going on. Excellent castle, beautiful new stadium, and a good nightlife district - all walking distance. I think Stakis runs a casino downtown as well (at least they did in the mid-90s). I seem to remember plowing through a bunch of Scotch while donating all of my money to a blackjack table.
