Just found myself in the position of needing to buy 1,000 miles to redeem a flight and not having any flights before then to attain what I need.

Is it really fair I should pay less for the miles than for the transaction charge ?

It really does seem to be very excessive, I mean 15 quid for what ? Surely the bank charge case has set a precedent that companies cannot charge ridiculous amounts for automated processes.

I will not be a happy bunny if I have to pay the stupid amount of 27 quid for 1,000 miles
