Yes. To miss the flight though, you'd need to turn up at the gate after departure time. On Friday, I got to OAK 20 minutes before departure, checked a bag and made it to my flight. I was the last on and walked onboard with the GA who had the final paperwork with him. WN isn't like most airlines. Other airlines wouldn't allow you to check a bag, let alone get onboard that late.

I wouldn't worry about this. Just don't book the last flight of the night. I do 25 min connections all the time in SJC and SAN. Heck, even DL allows 30 minute connections in Atlanta.
