I didn't know that; I hope it continues to be true but one would be taking a risk.

The problem is that the bonus offer is never mentioned anywhere during the application process except on the original page. So one doesn't have a 'contract' promising the bonus for that particular application.

If I were to get 25K (instead of 30K) that would be OK, but if I got 0 miles, I would not be able to argue. A printout of the original offer page would be of no use as evidence since it clearly states the expiration date.
