I can assure you they change FA's... GA's on that route sure give you weird looks - maybe its because US runs BOS...

A/C turns are a good thing to track though!
I think it depends which is your starting point. From what i understand on that route is the FA's take a 24 hour layover in BOS. Going from BOS-PDX-BOS I would have to do three back to backs to have the same crew twice. starting from PDX-BOS I would only need to do 2.

The first time i did it the GA got a loud beep when trying to scan my boarding pass. she looked at the computer, back up at me, then back at the computer. She hit some button then looked back up at me and let me board. I wasnt sure what that was about. The second time i did this there was no problem.
