Does the Aerofax number actually work?
Last week I faxed details of a missing AC flight to the AE centre using the Aerofax number. Included a copy of the ticket and fax of the boarding pass. Thus far, the missing segment has not posted (over a week now).
Two months ago I faxed details of a $75+ inflight Duty Free purchase made in October using a 250-AE point bonus cert. To date that one has yet to post.
I am getting the feeling that this is a fax to nowhere.
Has anyone used the fax and actually received a missing credit? (When I attempted to request missing flight credit on line, was instructed to mail it to the AE centre, so I used the fax line assuming this was the same thing.)
