OK, I'm gonna give it one last explanation attempt... by using Delta's own website to compare (relatively speaking) the mileage calculation you have.
On their site:
http://www.delta.com/skymiles/ways_t...lion/index.jsp
It shows:
Atlanta to Tokyo on Delta
Fare Class......Actual Flight Miles........Bonus................
Total MQMs Earned
Y, B, M..........
6,850.........................Triple................20,550
On one of your posts, you stated:
Tokyo-Narita, Japan(NRT) to Atlanta, GA(ATL)
6850 Miles - 10275 MQMs
Now, if you multiplied your 10,275 MQM's by 2, you will get 20,550, the number stated by Delta's website. So what you need to do is multiply by
2 the number at the bottom of your calculation:
Boston, MA(BOS) to Atlanta, GA(ATL) 946 Miles - 1419 MQMs
Atlanta, GA(ATL) to Seoul, Korea(ICN) 7156 Miles - 10734 MQMs
Seoul, Korea(ICN) to Tokyo-Narita, Japan(NRT) 759 Miles - 1139 MQMs
Tokyo-Narita, Japan(NRT) to Atlanta, GA(ATL) 6850 Miles - 10275 MQMs
Atlanta, GA(ATL) to Boston, MA(BOS) 946 Miles - 1419 MQMs
Totals for the actual flights: 16657 Miles - 24986 MQMs
Answer is... 49,972 MQM... That would be the real MQM's you would be receiving. Just use your NRT-ATL example and compare it to what Delta's website is giving you and you will (hopefully) see that everyone is telling you that it is 2x your M fare MQM.
I'm going to refrain from commenting further, as I don't know if there is anything else I can write that could make the example clearer. If anyone is willing to take on the task, be my guest.
Regardless of whether you believe the overwhelming evidence FT'ers have been giving you, good luck if you choose to believe otherwise.
