Let's wait to hear from CO Insider. This program is something that Delta has been doing for years. It works well. DL only offers paid upgrades once all elites are cleared. I would be surprised if CO couldn't duplicate this program (which gives me an idea for a new thread).
I agree that hearing from
CO Insider on this topic would be great. I have no qualms with CO implementing the program as they said they would. But the empirical evidence suggests that they haven't actually done it that way, which I find a bit troubling. If they are selling upgrade seats while there are still elites on the list then there is a problem, IMO.
