I have been twice at the Hampton Inn in GDL Airport(Mex).
In my 1st stay I got nothing as gold.
In the 2nd an extra bottle of water(normally they already give one) and a small snack. Value 2 USD?
I do not think I would make much fuss if I do not get it in my next visit.
Probably in USA the quality/quantity of the gooddies is better.
