As long as we are not getting Medallion upgrades on award tickets, I will always use PWM. It may be a little more expensive, when you do all the calculations, but I value more the flexibility of choosing any flight I want.

Now, when Delta does provide Medallion upgrades on award travel, I may need to rethink my strategy.
