I never recommend that folks peddle award program goodies on eBay, as there are ways of detecting who is involved (my eBay usename, for example, is the username in my NW-associated email address). But handing out client information witohut a court order would seem incredibly foolish for eBay. (1) I cannot imagine that eBay wants to be coopted into being the Sheriff of Skymiles. (2) eventually, eBay could share information of a customer who is selling someone else's miles (as an agent of sorts) and end up losong their own personal miles. (3) I suggest that if it got out that eBay shares its customer data at the request fo others, there would be a PR disaster.
That said, eBay may pull down auctions, and award programs may inependently detect the identities of sellers and buyers. I do not counsel the practice.
