I'm flying from PSP-MUC on US on a four-hopper (stops in PHX, PHL and FRA -- hey it was a great fare) and I'm pretty sure I can get bags checked from PSP all the way through, including the FRA-MUC codeshare flight on LH.

Has anyone had experience with doing the bag check at MUC for a codeshare flight on LH to FRA? The only reason I ask is that I've done this from MUC when I've flown LH on a codeshare to LHR and then flown UA back to the states, and I sometimes have to do a song-and-dance to get the bags properly checked. And UA has a presense in Munich, where US Airways doesn't.
