When I saw this thread I figured I'd jump in and make a snarky comment like that -- you beat me to it!

When traveling through BFL I've always stayed at cheaper, more leisure-oriented hotels such as Comfort Inn. The "nicer" hotels like the DT aren't really any nicer, just more expensive.
