Thanx for the post. Very interesting re Marriott. Those rules further my belief that they are falling even farther behind Hilton than before; although it would be nice to have 10,000 bonus miles.

If by physically you mean to actually pack up I do not think so, however, it still should not be too much trouble if you are traveling light and they require you to do that. However, as I noted above, I believe that there is a downside to that since they would probalbly need to clean the vacated hotel room more thoroughly than one that is to be used for more than one day.
