I have a Linksys WVC54GCA Wireless-G Internet Home Monitoring Camera.

They are about $89 on amazon. The thing has worked flawlessly from day one. It can also be set up to shoot an email with photos/video when it detects motion. I monitor the camera from my iphone while on trips.

The only problem is, if you only get one you end up getting a very narrow view of your home.
