AA's soft product between F and J isn't differentiated by much, and they've been using the same amenity kits (to save a few $ at the expense of people who spend several thousands more) for a while. I don't know of any other airline that does this either.
If you're flying F, and AAdvantage program miles isn't an issue, stick with the other airlines you've listed!!

What has been in the past? Do you recall?
I would rather fly Virgin if amenity kits are to be judged. They give excellent long lasting sleeping/track suits and their lounge in Heathrow is outstanding. However they continue to fly the archaic seats in upper class at least LGW-MCU
SQ gives great sleeper suits on all night flights irrespective of duration.
