Dunno. Paying 130-190 yen to use the Tokyo train or subway system and travel relatively long distances reliably, safely, and efficiently is an absolute bargain compared to the equivalents in other "developed" world cities.
4 quid to ride the lousy Tube, when and if it is running? No thanks.
