This is very similar to the one I got in January, except the 0% was for APR. I dont see any 0% bal transfer offer on it. The old one that got credit line cut by 85% had a 12 month 0% transfer which I never use. I have never done any bal transfer even when the interest rate was in the 5% region. The combined credit line often is an astonishing number and I can certainly see that could be very tempting to some who are in the 0% game or who are weak in disciplined spending.

The cut by Citi is more annoying than anything else, especially the Prof is a reporting card which I did not even know until after the cut. Though I can understand Citi does not think I need 28K line for dining out as that was the card strictly being used for.
I got the new one because I needed 11K pts to make final fixed point redemption before the devaluation. Got the 15K with the new card and a pityful credit line. I also asked if I could move some from Platinum Amex or any other Citi card (all of them have 5 to 9 times higher credit line), and was told they could no longer do that since Oct of 2008. I was not told about the 6 month period.
