The profile says you can standby in CHI/WAS/NYC but adds the proviso

UNLESS RESTRICTED BY THE AIRPORT PROVISIONS OF THE FARE
Doesn't this apply to p.s. flights? I've had GAs tell me you can't book, for example, LGA-ORD-SFO, then show up at JFK and officially standby for JFK-SFO. You certainly can't make a same-day confirmed change in this way.
