While Magnifica class is no great shakes, $350CAD is very cheap for a tatl upgrade from a cheapo eco fare so it would be a yes without hesitation on my part.
I cannot make sense of the timings, though: tatl flights are daytime westbound and nighttime eastbound, so I don't understand the 18EDT oneway and 17CET, unless the flight was not a tatl one?

As between a daytime and a redeye, I would definitely upgrade the redeye: night flights in economy are just torture. Besides, you will see as much AZ staff on the nightflight, as they would disappear rather quickly after the meal service whether day or night-time.
