Great post, I think that clears up any uncertainty! I just completed mine and agree with all except a minor note on point 3-
I did book seat 6F for both legs of my flight and would have done this through the website at booking. The flight attendant was miffed by this and made me stand there until boarding completed to ensure no one had 6E before she let me sit. All worked out in the end, but if you do get 6F on your BP just tell them you have 6E and enjoy.
The underseat storage in the row in front of you is perfect for cases and you get 3 of them so the overhead missing isn't that much of an issue. Sometimes a FA will put a bag up there too which is the only hitch.
