The way I read it, earlier connections are allowed without charge for anyone regardless of elite status. Remember this does not apply to passengers originating in a hub. It only applies when you get there from an originating city and want to change your connecting flight.

This is the way it was in the good old days of air travel. It benefits the carrier by moving out passengers and clearing seats on later flights that they just might sell. For passengers, it is a courtesy to get us to the destination earlier without hassle.
What MEMO? I find it surprising that a positive change which is efective 4/27 hasn't been posted anywhere by CO.
