That's complete BS. I have been buying on the Internet regularly for over 10 years. It's not the Internet's fault that Paypal/Ebay is a bad service. And it's not the customers fault. Poor service is poor service. It doesn't matter if it's online or offline, it's poor and unreliable service.
So it's the sellers fault for choosing an unreliable service. Maybe everyone that wants to sell something needs to get a merchant account to be able to authorize credit cards directly. Until they come out with an easy / free way to do that, I think Paypal is still the most convenient and cost effective way for most sellers.
