I've booked my parents on LGA-YUL-LHR and I'm wondering where best to seat them for the A333 sector. My dad is 6'4" and hates flying so I'm wondering whether I should nab them the exit row 35, which is free - though how much narrower are those seats?

My other thought was to book them seats at each end of a center row and hope the intervening ones remain empty, but presumably in mid-August these flights are likely to be full to the brim?
Does anyone have any thoughts on this?
