Hundreds of DHS employees brought their children to work on Thursday as part of a national campaign to allow children to experience, first hand, where their parents or guardians work.
At TSA more than 200 young people between the ages of 8 and 18 participated in the day’s activities, which included opening remarks by Acting Administrator Gale Rossides, technology and wanding demonstrations, canine demonstrations, a theater presentation, and an ice cream social. Also, University Park Airport, located in State College, Pa., hosted events that involved many TSA employees who work at the airport and their children.
