I hardly use my miles and have about 350,000 stacked up so was wondering if this was a good way to use them..or should I save them for something else.
The last time I used miles was to give some friends of mine from Panama a trip to Santo Domingo.
get the final amount for everything then figure out how many EQMs youd earn (if B4 6/15 register for 2x EQMs) then figure out how much each EQM will cost you if you purchase the tkt
Also will you need the EQMs to requalify for Plat again?
Now as a Plat you can always cash in the miles and decide to purchase it and pay nothing for cancelling the free tkt
just did that myself ,Ineed 712 EQMs to requalify for Plat and dont feel like paying $300 to get to SAN so i booked a freebe for end of June and if I find I can get the tkt for appx $225 like it was mostly till now Ill purchase it. since any flight for the needed EQMs will cost me say $150 I dont mind paying alittle more for a flight I need to do
thats me others will never use 25k no matter how many miles they have if they buy a tkt for $300
