I had the same problem with Google colored bars yesterday. That situation is corrected today. <snipe>
On FT, yesterday had the same FT problem that everyone else has mentioned. But today the FT home page with top-of-page link to Travel and Dining is back.
Yes, I had the Google logo in colored bars for a short while last night.
The FT header problem was actually fixed last night. Three hours after the problem surfaced.
As for Google logo in colored bars, I am glad to know I am not the only one. They placed the bars like notes that you could sing/read. I had thought it was one of the Google naughty moments that Google would play with the logo for special occasions, like Halloween or something. I was not sure what yesterday was special for though.
It's so coincidental that Google homepage and FT got funny last night.
