This story really made me laugh at the utter stupidity of D/NW (and the rest of the LCCs). The announcement quotes a Glen Hayenstein, Delta's exec VP - Network Planning and Revenue Management as saying "Our customers ... love convenience (I think they should have used a different word - but give them credit, they didn't spell if luv) ... and appreciate the addition of Dallas's most convenient and centrally located airport (implying our hub is not convenient or centrally located even though they fly all but 3 CRJ's from there).

Actually, rather than a response to WN to MSP, maybe they want to prepare for WN entering Memphis or Cincinnati.
