In the US, Ritalin is a Schedule II drug. To put that into perspective, that's the same category of drug that Cocaine and Opium are in.

Unfortunately for you, the US is a drug-phobic police state. While the odds of you getting caught are low the penalties could be extreme. If I were you I wouldn't even consider entering the country with your medication unless you can procure a note/prescription from a licensed physician.
