Why does this "promo" end on 5/31? I thought IHG always offered a "friends and family" rate based on availability. I worked for HI back in college and got employee rates all the time. For those I had to have a signed card by my GM (and I used the hell out of them). There was no website to book rates; you had to call or go through Holidex and make them yourself.

I miss staying at the HI Navarre Beach for $39 a night. I remember going on a week trip in college stopping through Cincinnati, then going to Detroit to visit a friend, then Cleveland, and finally home. I probably spent 6 or so nights at Holiday Inns on less than $200. Those were the days!
