I would guess that if you priced the whole trip YYZ-MGA-YYZ, you'd end up cheaper than even the 2 one-ways are pricing.
TA has had a brain cramp and now cost more than AA no matter what direction you price it (though YYA-MGA-YYZ is worse). Add the fact they have changed schedules so if I try to fly J to/from SAL and Y to/from MGA they have a 40 minute connection south and 47 north. Last trip 2 weeks ago the northbound flight was 110 minutes late, ouch.

So now it is leave Toronto 1045 arrive MGA at 815 pm vs. 3 (now 4) and leave MGA 650 a.m. and wait in SAL 7 hours for the return. AA I leave at the same hour but get into Toronto 3 hours sooner.
