No, that's not quite correct. It's not an automatic status upgrade to HH Gold that Select Plus gets you. It's a challenge upgrade. You call up Hilton and give them a code that can be found either on AGR's website after you log in, or in your promotional materials. Then, if you stay at a Hilton Family property 6 times within a 90 day period, Hilton will upgrade you to a Gold HH member.

Normally it takes 16 stays to reach Gold without the promo, and in fact that's what you'll need to qualify for next year if you want to remain Gold.
