International/Domestic Transfer (and Vice-Versa) in CGK (Jakarta)

Hi All,

I'm thinking of making a side trip to Lombok from Singapore on an upcoming trip. I know that SilkAir has non-stop flights from SIN, but only three times per week and the days are not ideal for my schedule. Garuda flies daily with a connection in GCK. This would mean an international/domestic connection in GCK, an airport to which I've never been. How does it work in GCK? I assume one clears immigration/customs in GCK. Do you have to reclaim luggage? Visa rules would be the same as if arriving internationally in DPS or AMI? How much time should be allocated (it appears the schedule gives nearly 3 hours)?

Garuda is one of the customers that I cover and I know that their reputation is not great, but I've never flown them. How reliable are they overall?

FWIW, we'd be in business class.

Thanks!
