Discovered this recently AKL-MEL. And have it again MEL-AKL coming up soon!! Aisle seat in both instances so no big deal to me, but thought it was quite odd - no reason that was obvious to me for no window.

BTW, one of the above flights (can't recall which) I was in row 4 on a 738 and an a/c sub to a 734 pushed me back to row 7.
