The value of their currency lost 15% last year right after I paid last year. I expect it will go down further. I already told my associates there to hedge against their own currency. I am going to wait till the last minute to book the APR.

Is that the F&F rate? I have never heard that APR cannot get PC points. I am not worrying about the points. I like my stay be counted towards RA renewal.

Renaissance Kowloon and IC HKG used to belong to the same guy. I used to be able to get good rates at Renaissance Kowloon. This hotel is not a full fledge Marriott. Even Platinum member cannot get upgrade or club access. I spent 44 days in this hotel within 18 months prior to signing up with PC. Still have 200k marriott points.

I have another question for all. I expect to earn a couple of free days with the PC latest promotion. How do I tag along some free days with a couple of paid days for a stay while not risking my room upgrade.
