Avoid Row 7 like the plague!!

This row has no window. Read this thread through the week, last week, seeing we were scheduled on 734 MEL/BNE Sat morning. OLCI revealed we'd been allocated Row 7. Later read seatguru which said to avoid this row due to missing window. Arriving at airport to print BPs virtually all seats were unavailable (on a flight which at T-24 had been virtually empty).

Upon boarding saw that T-24 had in fact been correct and I assume that by the time we were at the airport, everything else had been locked down due to balance.

Asked FA whether we could move forward 1 row which was fine by the crew (she even suggested going 1 row further forward, but on an empty plane in an empty row, in Y we could at least raise the arm-rests and spread over all three seats).

Is it my imagination or is there slightly more legroom in Y on the 734 than on the 738?
