I like space and 34 inches is 34 inches and in my opinion much more comfortable on long flights. Also earlier this year I heard MH loads had been light ex LHR, so a good chance of plenty of space in the Y cabin?
From lots of flights I would have to give the MH cabin staff the thumbs up over SQ, but both are good.
