Yep. During a reboot I noticed the references to Panasonic aviation technology.
After a number of interactions with the new IFE is that the product vision and requirements were well thought out, but the implementation and final product is tempermental and buggy.
The question is: was it UA nickel and diming the development, or the development shop not producing a well-tested durable deliverable???
