In the middle of a pretty diappointing stay at this hotel right now (Starwood seems to be on a roll for me this year when it comes to disappointments...)

First off, the sweet sleeper beds have been replaced by some kind of foam mattress which is appallingly uncomfortable (and I speak as someone who can sleep pretty much anywhere). There is no support and you get the sensation of lying on quicksand, a horrible sinking feeling. We both slept on the floor last night, something I do not find acceptable at a $140 a night hotel, especially given the cheaper Four Points up the road as a more comfortable alternative. Apparently this is the same in all rooms. Really, really bad.
Just stayed here this past weekend. Had a decent govt rate of 157 but valet parking was an appalling 48per day! Next time I'll park it myself! Got upgraded to an Illinois Suite. BlissWorld described to a T in his report. I was quite amazed we had three entrances. Bed was as what ajamieson reported. It was soft soft soft with that space foam feeling that you sank into. You're either going to hate it or love it. My wife loved it and I was a little more to the negative. I felt it was a tad bit soft for my tastes.

Overall a great stay though. Hotel is conveniently located on the river within a short walking distance of the south end of the Miracle Mile and Trump Tower if you ever want to catch some amazing cocktails at their bar though pricey!

As a Platinum unless there are a huge bunch of us in town at the same time you're almost guaranteed a suite. There are 40 suites at this hotel.

3 BAY HOSPITALITY SUITES Total No. of Suites 6
6 BAY HOSPITALITY SUITES Total No. of Suites 2
JUNIOR SUITES Total No. of Suites 6
OGDEN SUITES Total No. of Suites 5
CHICAGO SUITES Total No. of Suites 3
ILLINOIS SUITES Total No. of Suites 14

Definitely will stay here again. Plus they are dog friendly. No extra charge for Fidos but finding a green area of grass quite a hike with a Adult mini LH Doxie and 12 week short stubbed same breed in tow. A little painful on that part!
