Compensation for Delta Error
We had three issues with our flight last week and was wondering what/if you think I am entitled to in compensation and best way to go about getting it.
A. After our flight was delayed due to weather upon landing at our destination we waited over 25 minutes while delta changed our terminal as well as our arrival gate three times. Upon arriving at our connecting flights gate we found out the flight left 10 minutes earlier.
Would you consider that flight missed due to weather?
B. While on standby for a connecting flight we were denied boarding by the gate agent (with seats available) because at our original departure city the agents had not printed out the necessary ticket for our infant son who was traveling with us (Although we were told by the original gate agent that they had added him to the itinerary and we “were good to go” (we were traveling internationally so he needed some sort of ticket. (although no taxes needed to be paid ) we ended up having to stay over the night.
Would you consider this IDB? Due to us not having the right infant ticket because of Delta’s Error?
C. Upon landing at our final destination our luggage had not arrived we were told they would call and deliver I informed them to just deliver it without a phone call because I would not have any phone reception for the next 48 hours. They told me they noted the account as such. Our luggage was not delivered till 60 hours and only after I was able to get to a phone and call them. They told me there was no notes in the account and they could not deliver without a phone call.
What would you do? How would you handle all this?
