Mcdonalds in Terminal 5?
Well.... after a year of being open no one has mentioned anything like this on here....
Many passengers complain about the price and the variety of food and restaurants in Terminal 5 A and B and cant believe that there is nothing like this in the terminal.
Apparently, it may have been something to do with BAA trying to promote healty eating.... hmmmm....
With a meal in Crown rivers / Wetherspoons costing around £10 inc drink and a meal deal from Pret being nearly £7, it can be quite expensive.
In fact, for airport workers, or people that are there a lot, its evry expensive with not much choice!
What do you all think about there being some sort of fast food restaurant or some where just to get a quick hot snack (and not paninis / toasted sandwich at an extortionate price or a £5 sandwich and £2 bottle of drink!)
Do you think BAA should be petitioned for something like a subway (which would do really well....) or a burger king or mcdonalds.... or even a wendy's (like the one in T3 a few years ago... that was the last one left in the uk for ages....!
With airlines reducong the amount of food / meal service on aircraft. i really do think that the choice of restaurants should be better and cater for everyone... n ot just for people that can afford to eat in caviar house and munch on salmon and champagne!!
Do you also think there should be a marks and spencers airside... if you do contact Select service partner, they are the people that run the one landside.... it does really well and would do even better airside, especially with transit passengers!
Let the thoughts begin.......
